Catholic Theme Camps (rising grades 4th-6th) - $75

Western Adventure June 22-23 (Thurs-Fri)

Description:

The program uses immersive storytelling and imaginary play to help campers discover a new layer to their Catholic faith. From the moment your child arrives, he/she will be engaged in the camp theme, and interact with the characters in the program. We have two unique Catholic Adventure Camps this year:

Knights Adventure
Campers (squires) will train to become a knight, and join one of five great Catholic Houses that honor God. Campers will identify temptations that challenge their faith life, then gain the skills to battle against them. participants will experience a medieval banquet, show off new skills in a tournament of champions, and take part in an epic quest. After adoration and prayer, each camper will be dubbed a knight. All campers will also receive a free t-shirt.

Western Adventure

Campers will journey back to the Old West to lend a hand at “Lil’ Kateri Ranch”. Campers will play silly western games, learn how to walk and talk like a cowboy, and gain some ranch hand skills.  After a hearty chuckwagon meal and a western dance, campers will experience a real life re-telling of the “Prodigal Son”. All campers will also receive a free t-shirt.

Volunteer Counselors:Camp Kateri needs volunteer camp counselors for all summer programs. Counselors will work directly with our campers, and make it a safe place for outdoor play, and to grow closer to God. Counselors must be in current grades 9th-12th, or recent graduates.  Volunteer counselors will earn 48 community service hours, and receive a free t-shirt. To apply, please return the counselor application provided below.
